I'm experienceing regular horse voice, lump in throat , bitter sour taste and excessive saliva. I've have been on omeprosole for nearly two mos and it doesn't seem to help. It doesn't bother me at night. I exercise and it makes it difficult to breath at time due to lower throat pain and pain in upper chest.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding hoarse voice, lump in throat sour taste and excessive salivation.

Your all above symptoms favors some neoplastic growth in throat involving vocal cords that is responsible for hoarseness of voice and this may also give the feeling of lump in throat. Lump in the throat may also be due to enlarge lymph node due to primary in throat.

All above possibilities may be rule out by thorough examination and necessary investigations like -

a- Direct laryngoscopy.

b- FNAC from lump.

In this way one may make the suitable diagnosis and accordingly it may be managed.

Regards.
