What Is The Treatment For Inflammatory Joint Disease?
Transcribing operative note. Pre-op diagnosis: Right inflammatory joint disease including the radiocarpal, intercarpal and distal radioulnar joint in addition to left shoulder impingement. It sounds like the physician is using a lymphatic wrist tower ? Is this correct?
It appears you have arthritis of the wrist and shoulder problem. The arthritis needs to be treated according to the cause. If it is Rheumatoid, it needs to be treated with Methotrexate and Sulfasalazine. If it is Gout, it needs Allopurinol. If it is Osteoarthritis, steroids can benefit. The shoulder problem may require arthroscopic sub-acromial decompression to relieve you of the symptoms.
