What Is The Treatment For Ingrown Hair In The Pubic Area?

I shaved all of my pubic hair about a week later I was having a slight discomfort and bc of an ingrown hair. I believe I made a mistake by popping it and trying to getthe hair from under the skin I have now blister like thing in the spot. Will it go away or could it be something worse? Is there anything I can do to make it go away? I haven't had sex in over 2 months and I have had an STD test since then and all came back clear.
