my left big toe is so itchy that I often scratch it till it bleeds. I usually am able to let it heel(to where its not raw) and then repeat till it bleeds. its been about 2 years now. its only itchy on my left toe. Top of toe. very rarely does my right toe get itchy

If I were your dermatologist then presumptively would have preferred to apply an antifungal cream such as clotrimazole or miconazole. You can take an antihistamine such as loratadine for once a day if itching is present.
