Hi, I have an itch on my left heel.I got this from being in the dirt barefooted outside. Micospec BV cream was recommended for me. I would like to know if this treatment is correct? Thanks in advance Andrew.
hi Andrew 1. your concern may be tinea pedis, you require physical examination for confirmation of diagnosis. 2. don't use micospec BV cream, it contains mild medicated steroid along with low potent antifungal, it may not help you. 3. instead you can try tebicip spray, twice daily on dry skin, it's a topical antifungal spray. 4. take opinion from another dermatologist near by you. this will help you.
