What Is The Treatment For Itchy Red Bumps Spreading Over The Body Caused By Bug Bite?
Hello. Two days ago I noticed arould 15 red bumps clumped together nearthe back of my shoulder/back of the armpit area. They were not itchy and figured it was bug bites as i slept at my friends house the night before. Today I realized they have spread.. there is two on my centre lower back, two on my left hip, one on my right him, 3 on my stomache under my belly button and a few on my arm. What is happening, how do I get rid of it and should I be worried?
Hello friend, Bug bites is a general term that includes a number of insect bites.
Usually the lesions are red colored and are intensely itchy.
You should take some antihistamines like tab levocetrizine 5 mg night time. Along with usually calamine or mild topical steroids are prescribed depending on number and type of lesions.
Additional treatment may be neeeded depending on the type of bug bite and type of skin lesions.
I will advice you to visit your doctor and show the lesions so that he/she can visualize the lesions and can make correct diagnosis and guide you properly.
