I m an African American adult at the age of 39...I m experiencing pain in my left breast...I have given myself a breast examination just like my ob/gyn had shown me but I donot feel any lumps in either of my breast..now I m wondering why am I experiencing the nagging pain
Hello dear I understand your concern If pain is related to menstrual period called cyclical breast pain and due to hormonal imbalance. Other cause could be due to muscle pain of the chest wall, mastitis, some unknown reason and costochondritis. USG scan and blood test like WBC will help to find any infection. Take following advises: Tablet ibuprofen three times a day after food for 4-5 days Tablet rantac Wear full padded supportive bra. Gentle massage with evening primrose oil Apply warm pad application. Antibiotic course for the infection. Hope this may help you
