Hi I turned over last night and straightened my left leg and felt a snap then pain! It comes from the back of the knee/ leg area on the outside . Cant put much weight on the leg now and is quite painful ! It has happened before but not recently, it took about 3 days for my leg to feel normal, any ideas? Is something getting trapped? How can I relieve the pain?
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that you may be having osteoarthritis of knee joint with loose body formation. Probably loose body may have entrapped in the joint. There is possibility of entrapment of meniscus in the joint. Treatment of it is rest to joint to relieve pain. Analgesic such as ibuprofen is useful for pain relief. MRI of knee joint will be helpful in diagnosis. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your query. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
