Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no fever, stools are not blood stained and the child is active, nothing to worry. Bowel may take 7-10 days to normalize after an acute gastroenteritis. Also, 300g gain over 15 days is more than enough. In this age, we expect around 400g gain / month.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
