What Is The Treatment For Loose Motion For A Baby?
Hi doctor
My baby is five and a half months old.
She does very loose stool atleast 20 to 25 times in a day.i consulted to a doctor
he said its a viral infection gave medicines but no change.
Very often her stool is watery with white lumps water is like green or yellow frothh
She is gaining weight than i consult to other doctor he said she is normal
But i am very worried because its been near about 3 months that we botj

2. How is the attaining of developmental milestones
3. Is the stool oily and floats in the pan
4. Is there any colour change in the hair or skin
5. Is there any history of recurrent serious infections
Possibilities:
1. Chronic diarrhoea - ? Fat malabsorption
2. Micro Nutrient deficiency
3. Immunodeficiency either primary or acquired.
But at the same time I want to reassure you that without significant weight loss and a developmentally normal active baby around, I don't think there is much to worry.
