What Is The Treatment For Pain In Neck And Throat?
Sir, I have been feeling pain in my neck and in throat when touched from outside for about a month. It was diagnosed in the throat culture that there is Staphylococcus infection in the throat and white pointers are seen on the tonsils. I don't have any pain when swallowing, but I feel the pain like that of cervical spondylosis patients and especially on one side(right). MRI scan of the neck seems normal, but says few sub-mandibular and sub-mental lymph nodes have swollen (less than 1 cm). I have been under Ciproflaxacin for the past 14 days as it proved sensitive to the bacteria. I am worried if the infection is causing the pain in the neck and shoulder on the right or some other issue. Please provide your views and suggestions.
