Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from chronic backache. Looking to bones spur at L5 in MRI and your age I consider it to be lumbar spondylosis. Rest in position of relief, Cartisafe D once daily, NUROKIND GOLD ONCE DAILY and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) give relief. Avoid long continuous standing. Sit in a straight posture. Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. You has done MRI which bones spur at L5 but discs look OK. If symptoms are relieved by these you may need operation to be done. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
