I ve been having pains in two parts of my forehead, both on my hair line leveled evenly and above each eye brow, they tend to hurt if I apply moderate pressure, but also hurt on their own when I m stressed/frustrated. I ve been having these pains for about three years. I also might have ocd so i dont know if that says anything about my situation. (My friend jokes an says I might be growing horns...)
Hello dear, Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have made the following clinical explanation- You are having headache with tender points, which is one of the classical features of 'Tension type headache'(TTH).Hair line and eye brow tenderness as you are having are typically seen in TTH.Headache tends to increase on applying pressure. Please do mental relaxation exercises/Yoga/meditation.Please discuss with your physician to start you on low dose amitriptyline. It will improve your symptoms.Hope it helps you.
