Hi, My dad aged 65 is suffering from acute pain during urine and is also suffering from severe. He underwent blood & Kideney test and that is prefectly fine. Doctor told that his bladder has prostrated and lot of pus has been formed and suggested to take Citralka + Milixim-0 (200mg) + calpol+ B Capsules for few days. I would like to know experts opinion if this is the right medicines to start with and if there are any side affects?
Does your father have frequency of urination ,poor stream ,urgency etc?
Pain during urination at the age of 65 is mostly due to Enlarged Prostate .
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic test done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and Urine culture, 2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis.
Further treatment will depend upon the results of these test and final diagnosis,
In the mean while you can continue with these medicines . Dr.Patil.
