My husband is diagnosed with parkinsons disease and if taking carbIdopa he recently experienced weakness inhis back and legs o the point that he is off balance this happens after weeding the gardencould this be related to his parkinsons or is he experience another issue he suffered a stroke 2 years and since then is diagnosed with parkinsons since december
parkinsons is treated with levodopa.Weakness and disbalance may or may not be reated to it.In any case,gabapentin ,and methycobalamin maybe added if your doctor agrees and physical therapy,back muscle exercises. Parkinsons commonly affects finer movements,face muscles, tremors in hands,etc.A neurologist may be consulted for it. stroke may be having some residual weakening on the affected side,unilaterally best wishes,
