I can understand your concern for pimples and scars produced dud to the same.
It is quite usual to get pigmentation and scar marks due to pimples. You have not told us your age and sex along with related personal history so that I could have helped you better.
In my patients I usually prescribe a cream containing kojic acid and azelaic acid on alternate days at night time. A very thin amount of cream is to be applied so that it should not be visible to the naked eye.
Glycolic acid is also quite good in remodulation of scar but is to be uses in different percentage and concentrations as per the scar depth. I usually also prescribe Tretinoin in combination which helps in remodulation of scars. Some times I also prefer to do laser procedures to get earliest results.
I suggest you to meet a dermatologist so that best regimens can be prepared according to your depth and grade of scars.
All the best.
