I ve got a spot usually the size of a some and only slightly noticeable most days. It flares up and becomes a deep purple and inflamed while increasing to the size of a quarter every few months or every few weeks. It becomes quite painful to the touch when it flares up. it ison the underside of my forearm about 5 inches from the elbow. Any help?
It may be folliculitis. It is an infection of hair follicles.
