General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to ingrown hairs. I recommend to use a mild steroid cream for local application such as Calamine lotion. I also suggest to use aloe vera gel to soothe the area. If the symptoms continue, antibiotics may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
