What Is The Treatment For Pimples?

Hello doc... iam suffering with pimples since last one and half year... at first skin specialist prescribed me adapelene gel and akanarial to remove pimples... then after three months they got reduced but left marks behind them.. then doc suggested me vaniza and niltan with lacne face wash... it made the pimple marks reduced in some proportion... but after that it seemz that it has stopped working...whatever...very few marks are still left... that is not an issue... but what I found.. the same pimples occurring again... this time doc has prescribed me acnelak soap and cream.. and iam using AHA glow face wash and clean and clear oil free moisturizer on my own decision... coz now I got sick of visiting doc again and again.. seemz thr is no permanent solution of my pimples...I had been always a pimple free skin... but from last one and half year my life has became hell coz of pimples... plz help me out....

Hi.
As per your case history of pimples my treatment advice is -
1. General measures are needed like - avoid sun exposure, don't squeeze lesion, avoid eating fast foods, avoid using cosmetic creams and home remedies.
2. With proper 3 months treatment you can cure acne.
3. Use a simple cleansing face wash like Acwash twice daily.
AHA face wash is better for having skin glow and less effective in pimples. So stop using it.
4. Apply a clindamycin plus niacinamide gel like Glocin gel twice daily.
5. Other treatment options are oral doxycycline, minocycline, isotretinoin given only after consulting a dermatologist.
