What Is The Treatment For Pinkish Tender Circle On The Chest?

I am a 36 year old male, smoker. Weight is 170lbs and I am 5'8 tall strong pectorial muscles, medium size chest. Noticed a tender spot size of a dime that is a knot right beside my nipple on my left pectorial muscle and is pinkish circle on the skin. It is a little tender and their is no sign of any bug bites yet.
