Hello dear user.
Thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
A prolactinoma is a non-cancerous swelling in the
pituitary gland, which makes too much of a hormone called prolactin.
Prolactinomas can be treated successfully, usually with medication. You can take your pill dostinex as your doucter recomanadtion.
The medication may be needed long-term.
Please can you answer me some question?
• I would like to know the level of Prolactin hormone?
• How did you diagnoses Prolactinoma?
I know that you are only 22 but are girl/boy?Iam asking because during prolactinoma we have a lot diffrenc(symptoms )
Did you have?
• Amenorrhea (disappearance of ovulation periods)
• Galactorrhea (Milk production; infrequent in men)
• Loss of axillary and pubic hair
• Hypogonadism (Small gonads)
• Gynecomastia (an increase in male breast size)
•
Erectile dysfunction (in males)
Your concers is dolor in eyes.Iam telling you :
Pituitary macroadenomas (benign tumors larger than 1 cm) and carcinomas (cancers), whether functional or not, can be large enough to press on nearby nerves or parts of the brain.
In this case the sympoms are as follow:
• Blurred or double vision ,Loss of
peripheral vision, Sudden blindness
• Did you have probem with your visual vision?
• Your pituitary ademona how cm is?
• Did you check your pituitary gland by (MRI ) or (CT)?
A
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan or a computed tomography (CT) scan can show the size of the tumour.
My advise is to request a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which is the most sensitive test for detecting
pituitary tumors and determining their size.Depends of that we can conclusion about your eyes pain( may be is marcoadenoama that press the oculi)
Allso I would to test thyroid function .
Another recomandation is that before starting treatment you must to have:
-Have an ultrasound test of the heart (an
echocardiogram) to check the heart valves’
- blood test and chest X-ray too, to check for signs of fibrosis or inflammation.
-You should be monitored for symptoms such as
shortness of breath, cough, heart problems or tummy (abdominal) pain.
-Regular tests on the lungs (lung function tests) may be advised.
Please consult with your Endocrinolog &Oculist to take their suggestion about prolactinoma and pain in your eyes. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Thank you for using HCM.
