What Is The Treatment For Rapid Heart Beat And Swelling Of Feet And Legs?
3 weeks ago I was hospitalised for a rapid heart rate 145 - 170 bpm. and it was very erratic. I was monitored for about 4+ hours. At this time the rate returned to normal on its own and I had not received any treatment or medication. I was given blood tests and xray and allowed to go home. I was prescribed Sotalol 80 mg half morning and night.
Since then I have experienced very concerning symptoms - extreme swelling of feet and legs, fingers etc. Dizziness, tiredness, and several other syptoms such as weight gain of 2-3 kilos in just 3 weeks. Should I continue on with the tablets or should I consult doctor and seek further advise. thank you
