What Is The Treatment For Red Bumps On Forehead?

Hi my 8 month old fell out of his high hair 2 days ago (Friday) Cried about 10 min, then was fine. Had a red bump on his forehead. On Sunday we noticed swelling 2 large bumps on either side of his forehead the center where the red spot was is not swollen. Soft spot is not bulging. Saw our neighbor friend pediatrician she sent him for X-rays no fractures. He's acting normal so she didn't seem concerned. She didn't recommend ct scan bk of the radiation. It's now Monday and jus still swollen no bruising which I think is odd. Very squishy 2 the touch. Just want other opinions. Help!

Pediatrician 's  Response
thanks for your question. well after head bump swellings over forehaed are very common and appear because of fluid but resolve in course of time. as you have mentioned x ray is clear and not suggestive of any fracture. also if child does not have vomitting, pain , guiddieness , fainting threreafter then there is no need to worry about.
well do give him ibugesic as it would decrease inflammation.also baby may develop blackish discolouration around eyes and it will resolve on its own.
