What Is The Treatment For Redness On Toes?

I have some redness on my toes only on one foot and around 3 toes on the left foot. I am not a diabetic and I think one of the toe nails may of had a little fungus for a while but not sure as I am not a Doctor? Only one of the 3 toes are sore and it s the one that I think had a fungus? thanks,

Hi,

Redness and soreness on toes, especially along nail margins indicates paronychia- fungal infections of the nail bed. After confirming the diagnosis (we have to see directly or a good quality photo). I used to give antfungal lotions like clotrimazole for 3-4 months. Your doctor will guide you. Meanwhile, keep the area dry as frequent wetting exacerbates it.
