I have problem regarding my hair growth in the body. My head is covered with very thin and county hairs that too very dry and dull looking, even though I always try to make them thick dense and shiny. On the other hand, I have too much growth of hairs on hands, legs, and upper lips. Being a girl this becomes very odd for me. Please help me out.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have scanty hair on the head which seems to genetic factor, fungal infection, and hormonal changes .

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test, blood test and physical examination and prescribe medications accordingly. Apply over the counter antifungal ointment and start taking finpecia at least for 3-4 months. Start applying Minoxidil spray. Take Indian goose berry powder with water once a day.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
