Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Pain in the right area of the abomen. Gallbladder ultra sound show nothing. If you press it the pain isn't as bad. But when the pressure is release it gets worse. Making your self vomit makes it feel much better. Oxycondne, and nexium do not make it feel better. The pain comes back every 3 months and last for about 2 weeks non-stop.
If the ultrasonography is normal for gall bladder does not mean that the gall bladder is normal every time. You have to undergo additional tests of MRCP - MRI cholangiography, Upper GI Endoscopy to find the problem and get treated. The pain int he upper abdomen as you explained can be due stomach Ulcer, cancer or so , liver edema, gall bladder dysfunction, Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction and so on. If required ERCP also may be needed.
