What Is The Treatment For Shoulder Pain?

Hi I went to my PCP and he said I might have a frozen shoulder, he referred me to an Orthopedic Surgen. I had an x-ray done and nothing showed as far as my Rotator cuff. I was given a Cortisone injection wich my shoulder felt good for about 2 weeks now it hurting again. It s a constant dull ache.

I think you are having impingement syndrome or rotator cuff tear. This can not be diagnosed on the basis of x ray. It will need either examining by a sports medicine surgeon. Or it will need a MRI of the shoulder to confirm this diagnosis.
If on MRI there is impingement present then It will need a arthroscopic sub acromial decompression. If there is rotator cuff tear then it will also need cuff repair with the help of arthroscopy and suture anchor repair.
I would also like to forbid you that you should not do any type of massage therapy or steroid injection as this may cause more damage to already compromise shoulder tendon.
