I had what appeared to be an open skin ulcer under a flap of skin where I had my c section, well I took anti biotics and it healed, while it was healing I noticed I was getting one in my pelvic are where my underwear rubs the crease of my theigh. they didn t start as uclers, well the one on my abdomen just opened one day and was bleeding and wouldn t heal. the pelvic one was a pea sized knot that wudnt go away and I popped the skin and it bled and bled and bled, now its just an open wound that wont heal. looks like a cigarette burn. what is this??????
Hi there, Thanks for posting here. you appear to have foliiculitis/ furuncle- that is the infection of the hair follicle by bacteria. You need to meet a dermatologist to get a carrier eradication treatment. Meanwhile you can use mupirocin ointment to be applied twice daily after cleaning the area with salt water. you can take analgesics like paracetomol or diclofenal to relieve pain. Take care.
