What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat?
i have had a sore throat for 7dys now which eases off during the day by taking pain relief. however, i am only getting 3hrs sleep at night at present due to the pain waking me to the point where i have to get up and drink lots and suck on lonzenges for any kind of comfort - i have no other symptoms

It is due to upper respiratory tract infection from bacteria.
You need to take antibiotics.
However, to prescribe antibiotics we need to know your age, any allergic history.
Within a few days, you will relieve as you start taking medicines.
Also, avoid smoking if you have the habit.
