What Is The Treatment For Stomach Upset And Loose Motion?
Hi doctor i have been suffering from upset stomach since this monday and the stool is sticky in nature doesn t get flushed by the water easily since then I have stopped drinking milk as it has fibre and started eating yougurt. Moreover, I m urinating frequently since morning today. I have taken this tablet eldopar on monday night and after that i havn t got stool and i started drinking milk again. Looking at your description I would advise you to avoid milk for a while and take lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and dietary fiber in your diet. Have plenty of fluids orally. Antiacidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine with antacids are advisable for 3 to 5 days.
You can take a course of albendazole for deworming if you haven't taken it previously.
If it doesn't improve with all these measures than you should see a gastroenterologist for blood tets Ike liver function test, stool test and an endoscopy or ultrasound abdomen if need be.
Hope I could answer your question Best wishes
