What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Painful Knee?
A week ago I hit this side of my knee on the tip of the toilet bowl. I didn t think I hit it that hard, I had some pain but not much. About 3 days later my knee was alittle swollen and had a significant amount of pain . I am having difficulty walking and bending my leg. I have some tingling too. The swelling has gone but the pain is still there. I am taking Aleve because nothing else has helped, I m not sure what else to do. Please help. Thank you

It might be soft tissue injury or fracture.
Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
In the interim,apply ice packs to the affected area,anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid putting and rest well.
