What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Painful Testicle?
My husband is 39 years old six foot 230 pounds. We for the first time about a week ago used a cock ring. About 3 days ago he started complaining of having pain on his left testicle. A few hours went by and He was having pain in his lower abdomen along with the testicle pain. When I took a look his left testicle was swollen along with a 2 inch vein that was very visible. In doing some research I found out you are not to have the ring on for more than 30 minutes. I can guarantee we exceed the 30 min. He is in a ton of pain and of coarse won't see a doctor. I'm concerned and need to know if I should force him to go see the doctor. Thank you, Sarah
Hello Thanks for query. Based on his symptoms your husband has infection of either Epididymis (Epididymitis) or Testicle (Orchitis.
However this can be confirmed only on clinical examination and ultrasound Scanning of the scrotum.
He needs to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
He needs to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get Ultrasound Scanning of the Scrotum , Urine routine and Urine culture done to confirm the diagnosis.
