What Is The Treatment For Swollen Vein In The Scrotum?

My adult handicapped son is in diapers. I just changed him and while wiping him noticed that he vein under the scrotom to anus is swollen and bright blue, he flinches when it is touched even gently as if it is very painful. This just occured as I changed him hours ago and it was not there. He is non verbal so cannot tell me how bad it hurts. Is this something I need to take him to emergency for?

Hi.... it could be a testicular torsion I suggest that you take him to the nearest Emergency Room as soon as possible.
