What Is The Treatment For The Bruises Between Fingers Which Bleeds?
My husband has started having horrible bruises between the index finger & thumb on both hands. The least little bump or at times he isn t aware of bumping it. They will break open and bleed like a gash in his hand. They never clear up. Not on aspirin or blood thinners. Basically healthy guy, works out, eats well, etc. Age 67, non smoker. The dermatologist said due to aging. I don t buy that - it is too severe. He wears work gloves and bandages even. The entire web area will be black/blue/bloody. Any guidance?

Your dermatologist may be right. It may be senile ecchymosis... means due to old age, the capillaries may become fragile. Take vitamin C in high doses.
