What Is The Treatment For Throat Pain And Vomiting?

I am feeling something in my throat and it feels like a worm coming up but i dont think thats the case. I am 5 2, 23 years old and 3 months pregnant and have been vomiting excessively and was wondering is there anything that could have possibly been stuck in my throat for nthe past few days and how do i get it out or is that scar tissue from all the vomiting that i feel?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The vomiting is very common during the first trimester of pregnancy.
It usually begins around the 6th week of pregnancy, peaks around week 9, and disappears by weeks 16 to 18. Although unpleasant, morning sickness is considered a normal part of a healthy pregnancy.
So,you should not be worried.
It will go away gradually.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
