What Is The Treatment For Tonsillitis And Fever?
I have recently gotten tonsilitis and seem to have gotten it again. I believe it is bacterial due to my sudden fever and extremely sore throat/tonsils without cold symptoms. Both times I have come down with this I participated in felatio with the same partner, both times within 2 days of contracting tonsilitis. This Man is disease free and we always use condoms during sex (except during oral), could there be a connection....and if so, do I need to let him know?

Acute pharyngotonsillitis due to viral origin, it may be infected with bacteria and can lead to pus formation. Rarely, there is possibilities of sexually transmitted disease. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking.
Use Salt water gargling thrice a day for 5 days. Use water vapour inhalation. If symptoms do not improve, please consult your ENT specialist who will examine and treat you accordingly.
