What Is The Treatment For Trombiculidae In A Child?
My daughter woke up with something all over her abdoman thighs and pubic area that looked like chiggers. But it spread and the thought was bed bugs from the hotel we stayed at. But they got bigger and went up the torso. Next came mites so we tried the creams but it didn t slow the spread if anything they got worse and developed round dry skin circles. Our dr is stumped I m worried her thighs are now blood red and sore and new bumps are showing up

It seems that probably your daughter suffers from lichen urticatus. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
Oral steroids in tapering dose with antihistamine may be considered. Apply mild steroid cream on the lesions. Take precautions to avoid insects bites.
