What Is The Treatment For Urinary Incontinence?

Hello, I find I have to urinate a lot, some days it can be 6/7 times a day some days 3/4 times an hour, on a bad day I can go to the toilet then before I have left the bathroom feel like I need to go again. I went about 1 year ago to my gp thinking it was maybe a water infection, they tested this and said that was clear, so it s now been going on for over a year some days better than others. It seemed to start when one day I was desperate to go to the toilet but was no where near any toilets and had to wait, from that moment on it s been like this, could it be physiological?

There is a possibility that it is physiological, but we need to do a few tests to see if we ate missing something. These include an ultrasound of kidneys and bladder with an estimate of post void residue, a urine analysis, a urine flow rate. If these are normal, you can be started on drugs like darifenacin or solifenacin which reduce the urge to void frequently. On the other hand, if there is evidence of obstruction, you might need drugs like Flomax to improve the symptoms.
