What Is The Treatment For Vomiting And Diarrhea?

Hi there My husband ate prawns last night and came home and at 12 pm he was shivering uncontrollably and then had vomiting and diarrhea - he has never been allergic could he be now or would you say it was a toxic prawn he may have eaten ??? His friend also had prawns and was fine ?? Thanks Gen

Thanks for your query.
Note the history related to your husband taken prawn last night, got shivering, vomiting and diarrhea, was not allergic in the past, his friend who ate the same prawns is fine without any symptoms.
The most probable cause is development of allergic reaction and hence I would advise you the following:
To rush him to the ER or the hospital.
He may needs replacement of fluid, electrolytes and most important the antibiotics or steroids as may be the report of the stool and the clinical evaluation.
Do not waste any time at home.
