my husband was diagnosed with labryntitus and has just returned home after a short stay in the hospital. He is now vomiting everytime he gets up from laying down...nothing there but bile. What can I do to get him to be able to sit up and how long will this last?
Hi, From history it seems that due to labyrinthitis he might be getting vertigo producing vomiting due to changing body position. He can take Vertin or stugeron to prevent vertigo which will stop vomiting. Give him advice not to change his position suddenly and change position slowly. Ok and take care.
