What Is The Treatment For Vomiting?

My almost 13 year old daughter has vomited twice today about 2.5 hours apart. First episode, she complained of needing air went onto the deck and then vomited. Second episode - she vomited after saying she felt like she was going to pass out. She says she feels better after vomiting, her stomach feels weird right above her belly button. How concerned should I be - she has entered puberty, maybe about 10 days away from period (her third or fourth period).

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
hi.
thanks for posting query.

insufficient history.
meal history?
food allergy?
pain before vomiting?
stool habits?

anyhow, one or two episodes of vomiting should not be concerning.

for epigastric discomfort- above umbilicus, your daughter may take OTC antacid like gaviscon and simethicone tablets. avoid fat-rich meal and junnk food. avoid beverages.

if it does not help, then better visit gastroenterologist.
