What Is The Treatment For Weiss Ring Floaters In The Left Eye?
Weiss ring appears due to detachment of vitreous from optic nerve head. Posterior vitreous detachment is common with aging. Consult ophthalmologist for evaluation of extent of detachment and any associated retinal lesion. If it is only Vitreous detachment, weiss ring can be lysed with LASER which is most safe option. If there are associated retinal lesion vitrectomy may be advised by retinal surgeons. Regards
