What Is The Treatment Fot Sharp Pain In Chest Caused Due To Bronchitis And Respiratory Syncytial Virus ?

Hi, my husband recently caught the flu and passed it around to my children and then I believe I got it too. But im the only one who didn't go to the doctor. It was about a month ago already, but I still have had this horrible cough. Anyway, for a little more than a week now I have been feeling as though, my lungs maybe, inside my ribs in the front are sore. Today I woke up and have now noticed a sharp pain on my right hand side inside my ribs toward the bottom there is a sharp pain when I inhale and cough. Also when I lift my arms above my head. I'm wondering if this is something to worry about, or if I am able to just wait it out. Thank you! Oh my son has RSV I just learned yesterday, and my daughter has bronchitis. I looked up the symptoms of RSV and now I feel like I may have been the one to give it to him. :( i'd appreciate any type of feedback! Thank you!

I really appreciate your concern for you and for your family, this is just nothing to worry about it, this type of cough goes away without any specific treatment, general care alone gives good result and that includes, taking hot drinks, steam inhalation, avoid exposure to smoke, this will surely comes around sooner later, take care and have nice day.
