What Is The Treatment Of Diarrhea Vomits And Burps ?
My 3 year old girl has had the sulfur burps for the past two weeks. Everytime she burps, it smells awful. The past week she has started having diarrhea and vomiting and the past few nights she has been experiencing alot of stomach pain. The diarrhea is lose and watery, the vomit smells exactly like the sulfur burps. Mostly at night. Please help!!!
First of all, your daughter needs a rehydration, immediately. You can do this by giving her ORS(oral rehydration solution). When diarrhea is accompanied with vomiting, we can say that the diarrhea is toxic. Before you find the diagnosis I recommend you to take your daughter to emergency room for rehydration.
To determine the diagnosis she needs: 1. Complete blood count. 2. Urine test. 3. Stool culture.
You should take her to a pediatrician for a physical examination.
I hope this information is helpful.
All the best. Dr. Behar.
