Hi,
I think you should clear the doubt about the
restless leg syndrome by taking up and MRI of the
lumbar spine. Any small touch of the
intervertebral disc to the
cervical spine may lead to abnormal nerve symptoms.
It is a possibility that when a small touch to the
spinal cord can lead to such symptoms. Post-MRI we can help you assist better.
As your age is 44 we can expect some wear and tear of the spinal bones, disc and ligaments which can possibly cause some symptoms.
For now, I will advise doing core stability exercises, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip strengthening exercises, static quadriceps and static hamstring. If symptoms come down then it will be related to the restless leg syndrome and will be corrected by this.
In case the symptoms don't come down we may need a blood and urine test along with MRI for sure to figure out the possible cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
