What Is The Treatment Of Pain And Swelling In Toe If Got Hit ?
Hello. A week ago I hit my big toe with an iron gate and the nail detached from the nail bed about 2/3 of the way down. I went to urgent care and they told me to keep it wrapped and wash with soap and water. I have done that but there is still a lot of pain and swelling. Is this normal after a week?

You must go to a hospital and get attended by a surgeon. Your toe is possibly getting infected. You must have aseptic dressing. You will possibly need a course of antibiotics.
