What Is The Two Small Itchy Welts On The Back Of Knee?

Hello,I have two small welts on the back of my knee. They look like bug bites, but they feel more like several small bumps in a cluster. I spend plenty of time outdoors and know what poison ivy and poison oak rash look like, but this doesn t look like either. The spots do not look red or agitated. They just itch like hell! I haven t been out in the woods in about three weeks, so I don t see how it could be any kind of rash I picked up from out there, but I am normally not prone to bug bites either so I m not sure if it could be something of that nature either. Please let me know!

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity. You should apply topical steroid cream like mometasone over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Use mosquito nets as much as possible. Regards
