Our son had what he called convulsions of his left arm. He had a stroke a year ago with a blood clot in the carotid artery. (still there) The MRI was negative and he is waiting for the results of the EEG. They want to start him on Keppra. What is this medication and why is it used.
Hello. The prescription is right.Levatiracetam is a drug used to treat convuslions and epilepsy.I recommend taking the drug.In function of the results of EEG and symptoms of his son,the drug can be interrupted, the physician will decide about it.I wish you good health.
