Hello sir\Madam, This is priya, 24 yrs old, got concived after laproscopic surgery.I am in 13th week of pregnancy, was suggested to take Miprogen 200 Mg( Verginal) at the bed time. i am very confused why should it be used and how does it help me? is it harmful to the baby?
Hi Miprogen is progesterone hormone. It is used in pregnancy to help sustain the pregnancy. It also reduces the chances of bleeding and reduces cervical incompetence in the second triemster. The tablet has to be inserted into your vagina at bedtime just before you go to sleep. Studies have shown that it is not harmful to your baby. Hope this helps. All the best
