What Is The Use Of Oxetol Tablets?

Hi am taking 300 mg oxetol in the morning and 450 in the evening. But i dont know what is the exact reason for this tablet. Does these tablet cause mood swings? Does this affect my marriage life. Doctor has said that next year he will gradually decrease the dosage and then stop the tablet. please tell me is it very serious disease. my parents tell that i make some noise and i will bite my tongue. this happened two years before. once am taking this tablet i have not experienced any of that kind.

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Oxetol (OXCARBAZEPINE) :used as monotherapy or adjunct in the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondary generalised tonic-clonic seizures.
It does not cause mood swings but can at times cause agitation, confusion.It also does not affect sexual function. Antiepileptic drugs (drugs to control seizure) like Oxetol is usually given for 03 years and if patient is seizure free- gradually tapered off and completely stopped.
